Hindsight is always 2020

2021 is upon us and in full swing. It is hard to believe that January is half over already, and within in the next 40 days we will be at a year since the United States and multiple other countries began a full-fledged pandemic shut down.

This shutdown is what threw me full force into this adventure that has led me to all of you. 2020 was a rough year for a lot of people. It forced many people out of work, and into a new state of fear. It forced them to face the unknown. The fear of becoming ill, the sadness of lost loved ones due to illness, of not knowing how they will provide food for themselves and family, to pay their bills, and to many in the hospitality industry a fear of not being able to find work ever again. But so many people, even family and friends of mine, took it to really focus on these negative attributes of what the pandemic and shutdowns have brought. While these thoughts and feelings are genuine and human, there was and still is so much good and light coming from this sort of thing. Many people moved into their own. They moved to spending more time with their families. Parents who would not normally take time to work with their children on school projects got to do so, families got to take time to spend with one another bringing back family meals, game nights, and taking an interest in one another. The earth began to heal herself from the damages that had been done to her for so many years. And many of us decided to embrace our true selves.

I had been working with the runes for many years at this point and took this time to truly dedicate myself to their call. Working with my teacher I decided to really hone my skills as a rune reader. I began moving into ritual work with the runes and using them in spells. I took some classes online to begin to retrace my steps of a prior self into magick and witchcraft. I embraced my pagan side and began working with my guides and the gods of the Norse cosmology. I took a leap and began making rune sets and offering them for sale. Before I realized it, I had a Facebook page, a webpage, and was working as a reader and diviner on multiple Facebook groups. I was teaching classes on the runes at some amazing seminars on witchcraft and paganism.

Now, as I look outside at the first snowfall of the year, I become overjoyed and thrilled at what I have been given over the past year. I am saddened by the losses of many. There were many difficult things that occurred this past year, and many eye-opening experiences by the masses. We all learned many truths this year. I wanted to thank each one of you for your support on my adventure. You are love and help to develop RowanWolf Rune Craft has been unbelievable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I wanted to discuss some of the things that I have coming down the pipeline for RowanWolf Rune Craft. This includes videos, more events on Facebook, some partnerships with some other amazing businesses, and some new offerings under the Divination tab on the page. As of now I have added Animal Spirit guide and rune readings together, as well as a guided journey to discover your animal spirit. I will be adding some energetic healing options in conjunction with my wife using the runes and reiki.
